Austin Junior Volleyball is excited to announce that we are joining forces with Texas Shock Volleyball to form AJV South. AJV South will field teams in the 11-18s age groups and will train at the Central Texas Fieldhouse, the brand new sports & community center in Buda.

Texas Shock has served the South Austin and Hays County area for the past 10 years. Recent Texas Shock accomplishments include a 2017 AAU National Championship Aspire and a silver medal in the 2019 Girls Junior National Championships Patriot Division. Texas Shock players have been invited to train in the USAV High Performance programs, and many have continued their volleyball career at the collegiate level. Texas Shock was founded by Director Mike Beltz, who remains the Director of AJV South.

Austin Junior Volleyball has been a leader in youth volleyball on both a regional and national scope. AJV teams have won seven national championships and qualified countless teams for USAV Girls Junior Nationals. Over 500 AJV athletes have played collegiate volleyball, and 32 alumni have been named collegiate All-Americans.

With the commitment that Texas Shock has shown over the past 10 years to their players, combined with the excellence that Austin Juniors has exhibited and sustained over their 35-year history, we are excited about serving the expanding community in the Hays County area!
